ABS Afrique was founded by two passionate women who recognised the growing need for dedicated childcare services in The Gambia. Drawing from their diverse backgrounds and expertise in education, psychology, and child development, they created a unique childcare centre that reflects both their academic knowledge and cultural values. Together, they envisioned a service rooted in the belief that raising a child is a collective effort, where the community plays an integral role in nurturing and supporting each child’s growth.

 

Their educational journey includes degrees from Regent’s University London in International Relations and Psychology, as well as advanced studies in International Political Economy from King’s College London. With over 10 years of combined experience in early childhood education and development, their vision was shaped by hands-on experience with children under six, particularly in fostering social and emotional learning through holistic educational methods.
